The Capitalist

I have exhausted

A world that used to thrive

Into a desolate dune so vast

With only one tiny timber tree

And no regrets for the past

Within the hope of one tiny seed

Lies the possibility of purifying repentance

But all I see is the appetizing opportunity

To fill my pockets with material acquiescence

And without a thought I unleash

My bloodthirsty arms

I rape the shrub

And thrash onto her pillar

With the utmost harm

Twist and weave and loop

The lucrative nascent noose

As deadly as the serpent

Who bites your flesh

When you succumb to his abuse

Oh the riches they tantalize me!

With whom can I barter?

Surely a sucker was born to buy

My very last martyr

I salivate with crude

And clog my veins with porn

I savor commercialized prejudice for dinner

And subsidize ignorance reborn

And hoping to profit

I short-sell my dismay

Casting my minted manifest

To consume my addiction

By the deadly bouquet

But now my son hugs me

Tightly around my neck

And I reflect how I’ll never love him as much

As my beloved paycheck

No need to cover my face

I invite you to see

Because I am the capitalist who sold you the noose

To set my fare free!

Cold Blood

Snowblind through deception
Left alone in despair
Basked by amaurotic flashes
But no sun to see
Just white darkness everywhere

Accumulate and infest
With its noxious blank
Collapsing the lone shelter
That protected my head
Piercingly toured my rank

How appropriate art thou
To smother all life?
Slithering the trunks
With unsealed locks
To where we find the secrets
Behind the strife

The wintriness
The absolute nothing
An eternal decent
I fall through the cracks
My foundation crumbles
Grasping my limbs with relent

The sieve at the floor
Awaits in the bloody pool
Consumes all optimism
Trapped beneath ice
A slave to the needle
With no salvation from the spool

Extinguishing the kindle
That once engulfed my heart
Now the surface freezes over
Silencing my pleas
And we’re so far apart

The flurry of fury
Locked me in a cell
The flurry of fury
Cut off the arteries
To my spirit
And silenced my yells

The distress from my ducts
Froze under my eyes
Never became tears
But falling,
Hammering the ground impetuously
As sharp stoned lies

A whirlwind of confusion
Was too much for cat and dog
The chain abated abstractly
No longer willing as a pretender
To reach through the fog

How splendid to dream
Of easy summertime walks to St. Cathedral
With frayed ends behind us
Oh It aint necessarily so
And a unifying slumber
Pure of lineal obstruction
But reality subverts hello

Alas, the frost bites my lips
With every last word
Its cold kidnapped my ardor
From scarlet’s sedative sword
No longer could it sustain my blessings
So the tube was removed
Its soul can finally rest
From the malignant mutant
That consumed us two

Together Apart Forever and Die

I have discovered my past from tomorrow
Hidden within was knowledge of forgotten sorrow
I bathe in the sea of ignorance
up to here, my hand swipes my heart
The memory corners my soul
And pulls my limbs apart

Has reincarnation not blinded me from the truth?
A deed be done, a conviction without proof
I have caused her pain
But she doesn't know why
I have failed to comfort her spirit
And Forever apart we'll lie

Originally
(But I long to comfort her spirit
And together we’ll fly)

Allow me to Apologize for my Consideration

Allow me to take this time
To apologize for my inconsiderence
I selfishly refused to see pain
In a man who forgot to say hello

I'm sorry I turn a blind eye to your suggestions
I'm sorry I don't buy your clothes
I'm sorry I don't listen to your manipulations
I'm sorry I don't accept masculinity
On the success of narrowed consumerism

Allow me to apologize for my refusal for engagement
with a diamond ring made with the rushing red fluid of life
Instead of in civil discourse

But when we turn to our thneeds
and refuse to find hope in people
We reveal the true nature of mankind

What ever happened to caring?
Would you ever kill a creature of this Earth?
Would you ever kill a man?
You'd say no
But if you stopped living in denial
Would you save his life for a minor change?
Would you save her life in exchange for one of your comforts,
A need only perceived
A desire you don't want
Until your told you need

I'm sorry I refuse to lie to myself
since I recognize its harm
Because when lie releases from within
It escapes the heart
No longer does the thought contain love
It flows awkwardly from between the lips
The chauffeurs opening the limo door, the with a right arm forward and bow
A part of this world is lost

Why do I find myself apologizing to evil?
Does morality offend you?
But you cant possibly be evil
Because everyone else is too
